4. GPS and Location Data

Easycrew collects location data to enable core features of the Service:

  • Job Site Check-In: We verify you are at the job location when clocking in
  • Time Tracking: Location is recorded with time entries for verification
  • Route Optimization: We may use location to suggest efficient job routes

Your Control: Location data is only collected when you actively use location-based features. You can disable location permissions in your device settings at any time. Some features may not function properly without location access.

Data Retention: Location data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide services and for legitimate business purposes (typically aligned with your timesheet and job history records).

5. AI and Image Processing

When you use AI-powered features like tool scanning or task generation, images and text are processed by our AI systems (powered by Anthropic's Claude). This data is used solely to provide the requested feature and is not used to train AI models. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored by the AI service.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in these circumstances:

  • Within Your Organization: Team members in your organization can see relevant job and time tracking data based on their role permissions
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third parties to help operate our Service:

    • Twilio (SMS notifications)
    • Daily.co (video calls)
    • Anthropic (AI features)
